The Art of Bert Liverance — Halftime

October 14–29, 2026 | West Parry Sound District Museum

Museum on Tower Hill webpage promoting Bert Liverance’s “Halftime” flower art exhibition, October 14–29, 2026.

Halftime marks the halfway point in my Master of Fine Arts studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Featuring ten floral portraits in oil and watercolour, the exhibition offers an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of my artistic practice and explore the direction my work is taking.

Intern Project 2026 | Georgian Bay Biosphere

In collaboration with the Georgian Bay Biosphere, I created a detailed Eastern Foxsnake illustration for a specially designed long-sleeved shirt supporting conservation and education initiatives.

The project involved months of drawing, refinement, and collaboration with manufacturers to reproduce the snake's distinctive markings across the garment. It was a rewarding opportunity to combine my artistic practice with my appreciation for the natural environment of Georgian Bay.

Always in Bloom was an exhibition of my floral paintings presented at the Flato Markham Theatre in March 2025.

The exhibition brought together works celebrating the extraordinary beauty, colour, and intricate details of flowers. Through my paintings, I invite viewers to discover the remarkable complexity of nature and appreciate familiar blooms from a different perspective.

Royal Canadian Mint · 2014

In 2014, three of my floral designs were featured on collector coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint. This collaboration offered a unique opportunity to translate my botanical artwork into miniature works of art struck in precious metal.

Seeing my designs transformed into collectible coins was a memorable milestone in my artistic career and an opportunity to share my appreciation for the beauty of flowers with collectors across Canada and beyond.
