Dancing Lady

I lived with this Oncidium orchid while it was in bloom, watching its blossoms reveal something new each day. Its lavender edges and freckled petals seemed almost like brushstrokes placed by nature. More than a botanical specimen, this flower became for me a celebration of joy that is radiant, fragile and luminous precisely because it does not last.
